Housing NWT says its district office in Fort Simpson and several other services have temporarily closed due to water and sewer infrastructure issues in the Nahendeh Kue Building.

Other affected offices include the Fort Simpson Driver and Vehicle Office, Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority, Dehcho Region Executive Offices, and the Fort Simpson Probation Office.

Housing NWT spokesperson, Laura Busch, said the offices will remain closed until necessary repairs have been completed.

Busch advised residents with questions about Housing NWT programs or services in the Dehcho region to contact William Bennett at 1-867-445-7528 or [email protected].

Those who may require access to probation services can contact Fort Simpson Probation Services at 1-867-446-1796, or the Fort Smith Probation Office at 1-867-872-6570.
