At the end of May 2019, Yellowknife’s new Stanton Hospital is due to begin accepting patients.
With around a year to go until that point, the territorial government offered Cabin Radio and other news agencies a tour of the facility on Friday.
Head inside with Ollie to explore areas like the psychiatric unit, the emergency room, operating rooms, the atrium with its “living wall,” the delivery rooms, and even the morgue.
The new hospital is twice the size of the old one, which is now set to become a long-term and extended care facility.
