The Northwest Territories annual literary festival is looking for local writers and storytellers to participate in this year’s event.

NorthWords is inviting storytellers and established or emerging writers “of all kinds and representing all genres and styles” to submit an expression of interest.

The online submission form asks for a short biography, information on any recent publications as well as experience with public readings, presentation and facilitation. Interested participants are also asked to submit ideas for participating in the festival from workshops, to panel discussions and readings.

The deadline to submit an application is March 23.

The writers’ festival is set to take place in Yellowknife from May 30 to June 2.
