Folk on the Rocks gave Yellowknife more than 12 hours of music on Saturday, opening with local acts the Northern Mosaic Network and The Dandy Lions at 1pm.
At the Cabin Radio Lakefront Stage, the Northern Mosaic Network was followed by Amy and The Easy Hundo, Grace Clark, Clerel, Haley Blais and Skye Wallace.
Over at the Lawson Lundell Main Stage, Yellowknife’s own Ragged Ass Swing Band was a hit and had everyone dancing in the sand later in the evening
Begonia and Debby Friday closed out the main stage, while DJ Boogey The Beat and hyperpop virtual band lilamancy wrapped things up at the Canadian North Beer Garden Stage.
Children got as sandy as ever, it only rained for a few minutes, and it wasn’t even that smoky, so we’re marking Saturday down as another great day at Folk on the Rocks.
