Yellowknife Burger Week runs from September 25 until October 5, with nine restaurants going all out on recipes featuring beef, lobster, paneer, pork belly and bison, to name a few.
Just when you thought we were going to let a whole year go by without a burger frenzy, Burger Week is back. This year, it’s a fall edition!
Watch all of our Burger Week videos to see what you’ll get at each location.
How to take part
From September 25 to October 5, visit participating restaurants – we’ve listed the locations and burgers below – to sample the burgers and to pick up a passport.
To enter the prize draw, collect at least three stamps on your passport from three different restaurants. You get a stamp whenever you purchase a participating burger over the course of the 11-day event.
You’re welcome to submit more than one passport. For example, you can fill one passport with three stamps from three restaurants, then start a new passport to collect another three stamps and gain a second entry.
Once you collect the minimum number of stamps, drop off your passport at a participating location or at Cabin Radio’s studios (open 9am-5pm weekdays at 5007 50 Avenue, Yellowknife).
You must drop off your passport by Monday, October 7 to be included in the prize draw.
Who you’re helping
A portion of the proceeds from each burger will be donated to this year’s charity, the YK Food Bank.
Last year, Burger Week raised almost $11,000 for the NWT SPCA.
