Five MED and police vehicles vandalized, Yellowknife RCMP say

Police in Yellowknife say four of the city’s municipal enforcement vehicles and one RCMP vehicle have been vandalized.

In a brief news release, RCMP said the vandalism – which police said was spray-painting – was discovered on September 29.

The exact nature of the alleged vandalism is not clear.

“A lone subject appears to have been responsible for all five vandalized vehicles,” RCMP stated.

“The matter remains under investigation at this time. No arrests have been made.”
