Residents in the Sahtu community of Délı̨nę are being told to boil their drinking water for at least a minute.
In a Thursday advisory, the NWT’s chief environmental health officer said the advisory was “precautionary in nature and is due to higher-than-normal turbidity (muddy water).”
“There have been no illnesses associated with drinking water reported in the community,” the advisory added.
More advice for water use during a boil-water advisory is available on the GNWT’s website.
