The Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2025 business awards until the end of September 7. Here’s how to nominate your favourite local company.
To nominate a business, all you have to do is fill out this form and describe your reasoning for nominating the business you choose in the category you think they deserve to win.
Nominations can be submitted without including your name.
There are 10 categories to choose from:
- Breakout New Business
- Workplace Health and Safety
- Community Impact
- Skilled Trades
- Outstanding Indigenous Business (at least 51% Indigenous owned and operated)
- Trailblazers Women in Business (at least 51% owned and operated by a woman)
- Employer of the Year
- Small Business of the Year (20 or fewer employees)
- Large Business of the Year (21 or more employees)
- Customer Service Award of Excellence – People’s Choice
The judging and public voting period will run from October 1-14.
