The access road to Behchokǫ̀ is currently open to one lane of traffic as RCMP officers investigate a fatal collision near the landfill.
In a Monday morning news release, police asked people to drive slowly in the area and follow on-scene traffic control.
If possible, people are asked to avoid travelling along the road while the investigation takes place.
Behchokǫ̀ RCMP said more information will be shared at a later time.
