Folk on the Rocks 2026 early-bird tickets available on Friday

Discounted tickets for the 2026 Folk on the Rocks music festival in Yellowknife go on sale at 10am MT on Friday, November 28.

The festival’s VIP Owl passes will also go on sale, offering the likes of exclusive access to some facilities, free meals and drinks, and the chance to join a barbecue for performers.

Early-bird tickets include an adult day pass priced at $134.06 including taxes and fees. A weekend pass is $201.10, or $217.86 if you include the Friday Warm the Rocks event.

An Owl pass costs $558.60. You have to be aged 19 or over to get one.

Children aged 12 and under get into Folk on the Rocks for free.

Owl passes and early-bird prices are available until May 10, 2026, organizers said in a press release. Tickets can be bought via Eventbrite.

The acts performing at Folk are usually revealed in a series of announcements between March and May.

Folk on the Rocks returns on July 17-19, 2026. The Cabin Radio Lakefront Stage will also return, as will Cabin Radio’s live coverage of the festival’s three main stages.

For the first time, that coverage will be available both online and on 93.9 FM across the Yellowknife region, with the station’s frequency expected to launch in early 2026.
