Police in Fort Smith have issued an appeal for help finding a man wanted in connection with an alleged assault and robbery in the town.
According to RCMP, the victim was seriously injured and required a medevac for treatment.
In a Tuesday news release, police said the incident took place late on Sunday afternoon.

RCMP named 32-year-old Terron Stevens as the suspect, saying the victim was reportedly assaulted and robbed with a firearm at a Fort Smith home.
Stevens “remains at large and is believed to be in possession of a pistol,” police stated. “A warrant for his arrest has been issued.”
Police said Stevens is charged with robbery with a firearm, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of uttering threats.
“Stevens is considered armed and dangerous,” police stated.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should not approach him but should instead contact Fort Smith RCMP at 867-872-1111 or leave a message via Crime Stoppers, police said.
