Police in Behchokǫ̀ say a 13-year-old who was reported missing earlier this week has been located and is safe.
The boy was the subject of a public appeal on Tuesday. RCMP said officers and his family were worried for his wellbeing as he hadn’t been seen since leaving his home on Monday afternoon.
In a brief update on Wednesday, police said the situation had been resolved.
The teenager “was located in good health yesterday evening as a result of a tip from a person who had seen the media release,” RCMP stated.
