The first, The Art of Everyday Life, takes place from 6-9pm on Wednesday, April 15.

“This beginner-friendly journaling workshop is open to participants ages 10 and
up, to help you process daily events, reflect on your emotions, and create
space for positivity and growth,” Makerspace YK stated.

The second, Imagining New Worlds, runs from 6-9pm on Friday, April 24. It’s a beginners’ collage workshop, again for people aged 10 and up, about “exploring colour, shape, and creativity which reduces waste by using found materials.”

Register for workshops via the Makerspace YK website.

Eight more artists will hold residencies between now and March 2027.
