A Yellowknife Lotto ticket has won $2.5 million

Have you purchased a Lotto ticket in Yellowknife recently? You could be $2.5 million richer.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says a ticket purchased in the city has won a share of Lotto 6/49’s Classic draw on Saturday.

The winning ticket shares the $5 million prize with a ticket purchased somewhere in Ontario.

The winning numbers are 5, 34, 36, 41, 44 and 45.

The winners have one year to claim their prize and can start their claim by contacting player care.
