Anthony Foliot – better known in Yellowknife as the Snowking – has hidden about a dozen signs around Old Town that share his stories and poetry.

He calls the project Tales of an Old Town Versifier, the same title of a poetry book he published in 2015.

Each sign has a QR code that leads to a different audio recording of a story voiced by Foliot.

The sign Foliot shared with Cabin Radio linked to a story about blasting and drilling on Twin Pine Hill for condos, which he said disrupted the peace of nature.

Foliot said the project is supported by NWT Arts.
