Is this Yellowknife’s most adventurous cat?

Zora the calico suits up with owner Ciara Sater for afternoons on the paddleboard on houseboat bay.

“She was always a cat that I gave baths to when she was a kitten,” said Sater.

“We took her to an ocean and she went in the ocean for a bit. Eventually, I bought a paddleboard and was like, hey, let’s try it out.”

Aside from one attempt to swim to a tasty-looking duck, Zora is a cool customer on the water, Sater said. “A lot of the time, there are screams and people are really, really excited to see a cat on the water.”
