A dump truck that overturned while working on the Ingraham Trail was extracted from Pontoon Lake early Wednesday morning.
The dump truck was working for contractor RTL Robinson Enterprises Ltd on a project to widen an embankment and install a guardrail at kilometre 26 of the highway.
The truck overturned and fell into the lake around 11am on Tuesday, when a portion of the construction embankment fill slumped, a spokesperson for the Department of Infrastructure said in statement to Cabin Radio.
The spokesperson said no injuries were reported.

Infrastructure staff members arrived at the incident just after 12pm, the spokesperson said, to inspect the scene and help develop a plan to remove the truck with the contractor.
According to the department, RTL’s emergency response team recovered the truck on Wednesday at 5:30am and removed it from the site.
Francois Rossouw lives in the area and uses water from Pontoon Lake. He confirmed to Cabin Radio that the truck was removed from the lake on Wednesday morning.
“They’re back at it,” he said of construction on Wednesday afternoon.

“I’m sitting here on my deck, I can hear them just given’er, dropping rocks again.”
Rossouw said he does not have any concerns there was a spill. He said containment berms were already set up in the lake because of the construction project and he observed that the fuel tank was on the side of the truck that was not in the water.
While a spill was reported to the GNWT just after 12:30pm on Tuesday, the spokesperson said on Wednesday that RTL had found no signs of a spill. They said the Department of Infrastructure and Department of Environment and Climate Change would “work with the contractor to ensure that the contaminated area, if any, is properly addressed.”
KAG Canada, the parent company of RTL Robinson Enterprises Ltd, declined Cabin Radio’s request for comment.
