Police in Fort Good Hope say they have charged a 38-year-old after a gun was reportedly fired at a home in the community early on Sunday.

According to a Monday news release, officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired at 1:24am.

No injuries were reported, though RCMP stated the home “was said to be occupied at the time by multiple people, including three children.”

Police said Lindsey McNeely was found and arrested a short distance away.

“Investigation indicated that the incident was isolated and stemmed from an altercation that had occurred between the suspect and a person at the scene of the offence prior to the shots being fired,” RCMP stated.
