The grand final of Cabin Radio’s Adult Spelling Bee takes place at Yellowknife’s Top Knight on Saturday. Join us for a chance to win prizes, see who takes the title and help the NWT Literacy Council get books to families.
This is third annual Juniper Health Adult Spelling Bee and there’s the prospect of an all-new territorial champion after back-to-back champion Jacki McKinnon had to withdraw from this year’s event.
Doors open at 6pm on October 3 with spelling from 7pm.
With one “lucky loser” slot still up for grabs, the eight confirmed semi-finalists are:
- Matthew Leung
- Lauren Nolan
- Jennifer Franki-Smith
- Brie O’Keefe
- Kai Tan
- Kristie Leach
- Philip Boulton
- Julian Morse
Three will progress to the grand final that ends the night.
