The owner of a Buick abandoned on the Dettah Ice Road has until Friday to move it before the vehicle is impounded.
The white Buick, registration 340643, has been reported abandoned on the ice road for a number of days and was still there when Cabin Radio paid the lonely car a visit on Wednesday morning.
A ticket attached to the windshield states the vehicle is “deemed to be abandoned” – which means it has been left in one place for more than three days, without a note or any other indication that the owner intends coming back for it.
The ticket advises the owner to move the car before 9am on Friday, otherwise it’ll face the tow truck.
