Makerspace YK AGM

Folks, it’s time…..time for our AGM!

Come see what we’ve been up to, what we’ll be up to, do some voting, and maybe even get more involved with Makerspace YK!

When: Saturday, September 12, 4:30–6:30pm

Where: 5001 Forrest Drive

Society Membership: $10 (required to vote)

We’re currently looking for 4 new board members, as well as folks interested in joining one of our committees:

• Artspace Committee

• Fundraising & Programs Committee

• Hackspace Committee

• Shopspace Committee

• Finance Committee

• Governance Committee

You don’t need to join the board to get involved! Joining a committee is a great way to help shape what happens at Makerspace YK and contribute to the parts of the space you’re most interested in.

Schedule

4:30–5:30pm: AGM

5:30–6:30pm: Board & Committee Orientation

6:30pm onwards: DIY pizza, featuring Sam’s fancy pizza oven 🍕

Come for the AGM, stick around to learn more about getting involved, and stay for pizza. We hope to see you there!
