Ode to Yellowknife in Clay

The Guild will Ramble and Ride its way into another Yellowknife event this summer! Come join us August 1 & 2 in Old Town (Gallery of Midnight Sun) to continue our 80th year celebrations and highlight all our amazing members who love to play with mud. There will be pottery demonstrations of hand building, wheel and unique tools on display. In the ARCC trailer, visitors will have an opportunity to see our pottery folk’s interpretation of the theme, Ode to Yellowknife.

And it wouldn’t be a Guild celebration without making art! Guild members will be working with visitors to glaze tile pieces for an installation at the final celebration event at the ARCC gallery starting in December. The pottery minds have come up with a beautiful plan for this piece of many tiles.

So, mark your calendars and bring your whole family to Ramble and Ride and celebrate 80 years of the Guild.
