An overnight garage fire at Yellowknife’s Gold City Court is being investigated by the NWT’s fire marshal.
The City of Yellowknife said fire crews were called to a vehicle fire inside a garage just after 1am on Friday.
In a statement, the City said the fire had moved through an entryway toward the adjoining house before being extinguished. No injuries were reported.
Twelve firefighters and two fire engines attended the scene. Residents in the vicinity were evacuated and accounted for by RCMP.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and is under investigation.
