NWT’s New Year’s baby born in Yellowknife

Welcome to Yellowknife, Griffin Miller Wesley!

Griffin, the NWT’s New Year’s baby, was born on his due date on January 1 at 4:17pm weighing 8 lbs 7.5 oz.

Parents Krista and Jason say they are all doing well, and they want to thank the staff at the hospital for the great care.

Their four-year-old daughter Audrey is looking forward to being a big sister.

Griffin will be the last new year’s baby to be born at the current Stanton Territorial Hospital before the new hospital opens in May.
