Fort Simpson Housing Authority workers have passed a strike vote over what their union says are proposed wage increases “well below” other recent agreements in the NWT.
Collective bargaining will resume with the help of a mediator on August 20, the Public Service Alliance of Canada said in a news release.
There are seven workers in the bargaining unit.
Their latest collective agreement expired last year.
