Yellowknife composer and performer Carmen Braden says her fourth studio album, released this week, is her “deepest and darkest and singer-songwriterest album yet.”
A Hard Light, published on Thursday, features nine tracks. Several, including Voice in the Dark, An Invite and Really Pretty, were released earlier this year ahead of the main album launch.
Braden said the album, produced by Mark Adam, had been more than two years in the making.
