Are you interested in appearing in an award-winning Arctic comedy series?
North of North is now casting for its second season.
Posts shared to Facebook by North of North and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, who co-created the series with Stacey Aglok MaDonald, state the show is currently seeking Inuit actors to appear in season two. The posts state acting experience is not required but an outgoing personality is helpful.
The series, set in the fictional northern community of Ice Cove, stars Inuk actress Anna Lambe, who was named 2025 northerner of the year by Up Here magazine.
A co-production between APTN, CBC and Netflix, North of North had a successful first season and took home five honours from the 2025 Directors Guild of Canada Awards.
It was renewed for a second season earlier this year.
Filming for season two is expected to take place in Toronto from January 12 to February 13 and Nunavut from March 2 to April 2.
