A ticket bought in the Northwest Territories won $107,000 in Christmas Eve’s Lotto 6/49 draw, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation says.

Three tickets – one bought in the NWT, one in Edmonton and one in Winnipeg – matched five out of six numbers and the bonus ball in Wednesday evening’s draw.

The numbers drawn were 2, 19, 20, 22, 42, 47 and bonus ball 35.

Ordinarily, when a winning ticket is bought in Yellowknife, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation states the name of the city.

When the name “Northwest Territories” is shown, as in this instance, it usually means the ticket was bought in a smaller NWT community outside Yellowknife.
