Leonard Nadia is the winner of the $100,000 Lotto Max Extra draw from May 1, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation says.
“I’m going to pay some bills and take a trip to Whitehorse!” Nadia was quoted as saying in a Thursday release of how he plans to spend his winnings.
“We have a son studying in Vancouver and now we can help him come home to visit on Father’s Day and my birthday!”
The press release said Nadia was “shocked to discover the win.”
“I scanned it and the amount came up,” Nadia said “I was looking around like, ‘Does anyone else see this?!’”

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation has yet to announce the winner of a $2.5 million Lotto 6/49 Classic draw on May 17.
