Technicians fixing Hay River propane issue, town says

The Town of Hay River says technicians are going door-to-door to fix a propane issue affecting customers across the community.

Over the past 24 hours, some residents had reported losing propane and, as a result, having no access to hot water.

In a Saturday notice, the town said supplier Stittco Utilities has a “system-wide interruption” and its staff are going to each affected home “to reset service connections.”

“You may see service technicians outside of your home making the adjustments,” the town stated.
