RCMP in Yellowknife say they have now located Adrian Sangris, who is said to be wanted on charges related to a June 21 incident.
Sangris was the subject of an appeal for help finding him late last week, following at least three other such appeals in the past year.
Residents were warned not to approach him but to contact their local detachment if he was seen.
Sangris “is currently subject to an arrest warrant for one count of assault causing bodily harm and two counts of failure to comply with a release order” regarding the June 21 incident, RCMP stated.
Those charges have yet to be tested in court.

In a brief Monday update, RCMP said Sangris had been located. Whether he had been arrested was not specified.
