Northwestel says internet, TV and home phone customers in Yellowknife may see their service drop out for up to an hour on Thursday afternoon as maintenance work takes place.
A notice sent to Yellowknife customers on Tuesday stated services may be down for up to 60 minutes between 1pm and 4pm on August 20.
“Please note, this may impact your ability to contact emergency services from a landline,” the company added.
Cell phone service will not be affected according to Northwestel’s notice.
