Lotto ticket bought in NWT won $100,000 in Tuesday’s draw

A ticket bought in the Northwest Territories scooped a $100,000 prize in Tuesday, September 22’s Lotto Max Extra draw.

According to the website of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, a ticket sold in the NWT matched the last six digits of winning numbers 5166565 in the Extra game.

Generally, the phrase “Northwest Territories” in the winners’ section of the WCLC website indicates the ticket was purchased in a smaller community outside Yellowknife. (The territorial capital’s name is shown instead if the ticket was sold there.)

No further information was immediately available. Winners of Extra prizes have one year from the draw date to claim.
