Yellowknife RCMP responded to a hit and run Friday night just after 7pm on 48th Street north of Niven Gate. They are asking for help identifying the vehicle and driver.
A news release issued Saturday said the hit and run involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The victim “sustained serious injuries,” while the driver had left the scene when emergency responders arrived.
Police asked any one with information, photos or videos of the collision, the moments leading up to the collision, or of a vehicle leaving the scene to call 867-669-1111 or submit a tip on Crime Stoppers.
