Nominations have closed for the 2019 territorial election, with 58 people officially in the running for 19 seats across the NWT. Bob McLeod isn't one of them.

Saying the NWT should be run like a business, Martselos wants a new daycare for Fort Smith and a territorial addictions centre based in the town.

Stressing Aurora College must remain based in Fort Smith, Sebert believes he made vital contributions to improving the NWT's legislation in the past four years.
Yuhas says she has the business experience to balance the NWT's priorities. "We need infrastructure, but we also need to have young, healthy, educated people."
City councillor Konge says he wants to "move the needle" on a range of issues affecting Yellowknife that he believes require territorial influence.
