The Tłı̨chǫ Government published Behchokǫ̀’s notice of election on Friday.
The community will run polling stations at the gymnasium in Rae and youth centre in Edzo from 10am till 7pm on June 9.
Advance voting will be at the same locations from 10am till 6pm on May 31.
According to an election calendar published by the Tłı̨chǫ Government, nominations for each election are due to open by April 28 and close on May 12.
This year marks 20 years since the four community governments were established in their current form.
They came into being on August 4, 2005 after the signing of the Tłı̨chǫ Agreement and have powers similar to municipal governments in other NWT communities.
