Halloween festivities are kicking off early in Yellowknife with pop-up drive-in showings of Hocus Pocus and Ghostbusters planned for September 27.
As in past years, the drive-in double feature will be hosted in the parking lot between the city’s multiplex arena and fieldhouse.
Gates will open at 7pm, with the show starting around 8pm.
The cost to attend is $30 per vehicle, or $15 per walk-in. Children 12 and under can walk in for free, though they must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be a special area reserved for people without vehicles to enjoy the show.
The event is co-hosted by Western Arctic Moving Pictures and the City of Yellowknife.
