Folk on the Rocks is among seven nominees for small festival of the year at the 2026 Canadian Live Music Awards.

Yellowknife’s annual summer music festival is shortlisted alongside:

  • Paris Drinks Festival, Paris, Ontario
  • Festival of Small Halls, Ontario
  • Minoshkite Indigenous Music Festival, Ottawa

Festival executive director Teresa Horosko is separately shortlisted alongside eight other people in a category titled “your future boss” that celebrates forward-looking music industry leaders.

Winners will be announced during a ceremony at Toronto’s Bluma Appel Theatre on May 6.

Folk on the Rocks previously won the small festival category in 2023. Guelph’s Hillside Festival won in 2024 and no awards ceremony was held in 2025.
