RCMP in Inuvik say an Ontario 21-year-old and Alberta 24-year-old face charges related to drug trafficking after a Bompas Street apartment was raided this week.
In a Thursday news release, police said a Tuesday search of the property turned up suspected crack cocaine, more than $8,000 in cash and “other items associated with drug trafficking.”
Jay Nayyar of Ontario and Abdikarim Bashir Muhumad of Alberta were named as those charged.
RCMP said they have been remanded into custody.
