Yellowknife is remembering the late Gail Cyr at a celebration of life taking place at the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Gail, who passed away at the age of 71 earlier this month, was an Order of Canada inductee who had a profound impact on Yellowknife civics and the arts while devoting herself to advocacy on behalf of Indigenous people.
Sunday’s event begins at 2pm.
